Chicken Choila
super easy
Ingredients:
- 500 grams boneless chicken, cooked and shredded
- 2 tablespoons mustard oil
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 2 teaspoons coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked and shredded chicken with all the spices, onion, garlic, ginger, coriander, mint, and salt.
- Add mustard oil and lemon juice to the mixture and mix well.
- Let the mixture marinate for at least 30 minutes, or ideally overnight.
- Heat a pan on medium heat and add the marinated chicken mixture to it.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is heated through and slightly charred.
- Serve hot with rice or flatbread.
