Pan-Seared Scallops with Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

- Ingredients:
- 8 large sea scallops
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Directions:
- Pat scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add scallops and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Remove scallops from the pan and set aside. Add butter to the pan and cook until melted and slightly browned.
- Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add lemon juice and parsley, stirring to combine.
- Serve the scallops with the lemon garlic butter sauce on top.
