Chicken Choila

super easy

 

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams boneless chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 2 tablespoons mustard oil
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves
  • 2 teaspoons cumin powder
  • 2 teaspoons coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked and shredded chicken with all the spices, onion, garlic, ginger, coriander, mint, and salt.
  2. Add mustard oil and lemon juice to the mixture and mix well.
  3. Let the mixture marinate for at least 30 minutes, or ideally overnight.
  4. Heat a pan on medium heat and add the marinated chicken mixture to it.
  5. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is heated through and slightly charred.
  6. Serve hot with rice or flatbread.
